Rev. Melissa Hayward-Tucker is a wife, mother, grandmother, author, leader, and founder of God's Vessel Ministries. She is an inspirational speaker/preacher and faith leader who loves God and is focused on helping women transform their lives by living in obedience to the infallible Word of God!

 

She is an award-winning Gospel Artist with/ Genesoul Entertainment. Her NEW SINGLE titled "Freedom Ring" is available on all platforms! She is the winner of the London, UK MP3 Music Award for Best Gospel Song "Praize Praize" and the winner of the Indie Music Channel Award for Gospel Recording Song "Transformed" from her freshman CD entitled "Caught Up." This Freshman CD depicts the demoralized price she paid while using drugs and alcohol.  She is currently working on her sophomore CD of pure worship entitled "Sovereign God."

Rev. Melissa Hayward-Tucker is an accomplished stage actor. Her credits include co-starring with JAMES DeBARGE and HOWARD HEWITT in WHEN A MAN FINDS A WIFE HE FINDS A GOOD THING, which enjoyed successful runs at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre (Los Angeles), Spreckles Theater (San Diego), The El Rey Theatre (Los Angeles) and The Orpheum Theatre. In 2006, God spoke to Rev. Tucker’s heart and challenged her to birth “God’s Vessel Ministries”.  Their objective is to share God’s unconditional love with every vessel, to bring hope of a transformed life.  Rev. Tucker and her husband, Deacon Anthony Tucker, are continuing the vision by holding yearly community events called "Recovery Impact Day," where they empower and educate communities about the impact that Recovery provides in one's life.

They humbly provide toiletries to those in need on a quarterly basis. Reverend Tucker completed her Biblical Studies at Bethany Bible College in June of 2021. She currently attends Grace Christian University and is set to graduate in May of 2024. By God's grace and divine calling, God afforded her to be licensed to preach in 2006 and ordained into the ministry of clergy in 2014. Rev. Tucker attends Maranatha Community Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Stephen F. Dyson, where she serves on the Praise Team, Choir, and Ministers Team. She and her husband both serve on the Couples Ministry and are the leaders of the Recovery Ministry.
